A&M has two indoor practice fields side-by-side. One is football only, the other has a concourse with concessions, is surrounded by an indoor track with corners that can be raised and lowered, and has a seating area.
So you have an IPF for football and an Indoor Track for T&F. Those are two separate things.

Per yahoo sports quote the new Bama facility is all sports:

It’s not just for football, it’s for all of Alabama’s sports.

Nah, the track side is modular. It's dual-use whereas the football-only side isn't.
At any rate, despite having two, Sumlin doesn't use either. The track side is used for track meets and never converted or used for walkthroughs or drills and the football-only side isn't used either. Sumlin's whole philosophy toward the game of football is tempo. Practice is the same way. The pace of practice is fast, fast, fast and he wants it in the heat so we are used to it and can achieve the same tempo in games without cracking. Hanging out in the AC is anathema to what we're trying to accomplish. I wish we could tear it down, because it's ugly and looks insanely cheap, but it's probably a good recruiting tool.
