Well, I don't know that much about the state of Kentucky as a whole, as I'm not from there, but most of the population is centered about Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati. You're wrong about it being the exact opposite.

I honestly question why Missouri is considered midwestern and Kentucky is considered southern. Kentucky is one state away from Canada, and always seemed pretty northernly to be counsidered 'southern'.

Not a flame, just don't really get it.
