There's some good pitching but look at the number of fly outs for all the teams. It's got to be off the chart from previous years.
When was the last time you heard people talk about fastballs up in the zone down the middle being an effective pitching technique?
Looks like if you have a decent pitcher and 3 good outfielders you can make the field of play from the back edge of the infield dirt and in.
It's not just homeruns, but those show up easier in the stats.

At one point last night Conforto for OSU was 7-11 at the CWS.....he did it by getting his hands above the ball and hitting line drives.
Ty Ross did this once, Jacoby did it once.....LSU's problem was that Rhymes, Bregman, nor Ibarra could figure it out at this tourney.

This is how I know you know nothing about baseball. These pitchers are good. Rodon, the kid form UCLA, and other starters have above average fastballs and can be extremely effective up in the zone you dipshit. Gah the lack of baseball knowledge on this board is befuddling.
