Matter of fact, I don't even know how baseball is played. Pitch, hit, but that's it. I know the idea of getting to home base, but I don't know all the ways you get out, nor the difference in a strike and a ball.
Well frick me sideways. It's a beautiful game. The fact that Alabama is as good as they are at it (historically) is a feat in itself considering the disadvantage I brought up on page one.
To put it in football terms, schools that aren't able to use the hope scholly's are basically like a football team on probation with 15 scholly's opposed to twenty-five. It's an astronomical disadvantage in recruiting but Alabama has managed to be a historically good baseball program despite it

That is what I find funny. Any knowledgable Alabama fan would be proud of the baseball program. Over the years it has been top 5 in the SEC

Rise, you are a pretty solid poster usually you at least bring a conversation to the table, Cajunbama on the other hand is a piece of shite that only flames, and is terrible at it.

They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it: for it is money they have and peace they lack. And they'll walk out to the bleachers; sit in shirtsleeves on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have reserved seats somewhere along one of the baselines, where they sat when they were children and cheered their heroes. And they'll watch the game, and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters.
The pitcher throws and you look for that pill...suddenly there's nothing else in the ballpark but you and it. Sometimes, when you feel right, there's a groove there, and the bat just eases into it and meets that ball. When the bat meets that ball and you feel that ball just give, you know it's going to go a long way. Damn, if you don't feel like you're going to live forever.
Don't care about baseball, but do like the movies....
