Still not sure the point you're making but you highlighted the difference.

Mandatory ROTC for LSU and Mandatory Corps for A&M.

We are one of 5 Sr Military Academies. Our Corps is more than just being in a ROTC program

And so was LSU's back in the day.

I swear it's like these two schools have been locked in mortal combat while falling into a bottomless pit for eternity. It's about time we were back in the same conference again. 98 years is a long time to wait.
