HB was a top 10 player because of his versatility.

He made game-changing play after game-changing play and was the MVP of a 13-1 LSU team.

I think if this were a list of top 5 or top 10 "playmakers", then you'd have to include him in the list.

But this is a list of the top 5 SEC players over the last 7 years. I think you have to take into account more than play making ability in order to put together a decent list. If we take into account his overall ability and what he did play to play, I think he's an above average player with great playmaking ability. Not a top 5 (or even 10) player.

And I do think you have to take into account what the players were able to accomplish in the time that they had. Had we seen him play for a full 3 or 4 years, I might have a different opinion. But you can't place him in front of players like Cam Newton, Tim Tebow, Patrick Peterson, Glenn Dorsey, Andre Smith, AJ Green, etc...
