Starting 2014, the 3rd tier television rights directly associated to TAMU in the SEC will be:

Texas TV sets * ~$1+ for SEC Network = 3rd tier revenues SEC revs in the state of Texas.

WITHOUT TAMU in the SEC it would be:

Texas TV sets * $.05 = 3rd tier SEC revs in the state of Texas.

TAMU will make more in the SEC than it would have in the Big XII (which will have a very difficult if not impossible time creating a network as it would have to be sans Texas).

SEC will make more with TAMU in it.

Everyone wins. Unless you're a Big XII fan, of course. In which case, congrats on TCU. Impressive expansion so far.
