The National Anthem?
Yes, new version sucks. The RMB director will change next year so maybe he will go back to normal National Anthem. I don't like him all that much though. He came from LSU and has introduced "Neck" to the band.

Yeah, I recall that. That guy SUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED. His name was Gunter.
He took the part where the band plays Semper Fidelis (which is the perfect intro to the the playing of the national anthem) and substituted the theme from Silverado.

Talk about a complete and utter frickstain. Changed the pregame to a shittier version after it had been done the same way for at least 40 years. I know mostly alums noticed and got pissed by that, self included.
And I don't like calling anyone a "sidewalk fan". Not all of them do it, but usually if its somebody who doesn't understand or participate in the traditions (or who does it wrong) they aren't former students. That's ok. I just wish they'd learn the traditions and songs so they can participate correctly.
