Softball swept a double header today to improve to 12-2 before heading to Ole Miss this weekend. Thomas threw the first game and gave up 1 hit (HR) and Tigers won 3-1. Hudson pitched the second and the Tigers won 4-3.

I have a feeling the SEC teams are going to beat up on each other this season. With 5 SEC teams in the top 10, there's too much parity for a lot of separation. The PAC also has good teams, but overall the SEC is stronger based on the rankings.
We will be all playing for a home series in the playoffs if this keeps up, and not everyone can get one.

Our biggest problem right now is a 2nd pitcher. Our #2 quit the team and now one of our best hitters, Hudson, has been thrown into the #2 role. We'll see how she comes along.

Not sure. Only heard the "personal" reasons. Never heard what the personal reasons were.

Well crap. She was good! We'll obviously be recruiting some pitchers this year.

I hadn't looked, but was talking to someone about her quitting and he was saying something about Mizzou may be bringing in a stud pitcher next year. Could swear he said the top ranked pitcher. Could be wrong though.
