What's county leadership have to do with the SEC?

Did you read the article, about the city, located within the county?

Better yet, if I may, allow me to ask you:

What redeeming attribute, what value, does Birmingham add to the SEC that warrants the SEC staying in B-ham? What benefit does it bring to the conference because, as I understand it, B-ham offers no tax incentives, no special considerations, not even any subsidies for improvements ... yet the SEC brings millions and millions in revenue to the city of B-ham yearly.

What does B-Ham offer that adds balance?

Birmingham is doing fine financially.. I get so sick of people assuming Birmingham went bankrupt.

Birmingham downtown population and growth is rising..
Railroad Park, Regions Field, numerous loft developments, The Westin and The Uptown District are just some recent new developments.. Heck, the ol dome expansion has came back.
