To where they should move is irrelevant. Let them hire consultants and let them negotiate with cities and counties to determine that. The main objective should simply be to gtfo out of B-ham before it is too late and they end-up with egg on their face.

I've no time to try to educate some snot-nosed little Internet know-it-all who fails to grasp the obvious and has not lived long enough to become fluent in reading the writing on the wall. The reasons to move out of Birmingham are legion - endless even. The cons now far outweigh the pros. Move to Huntsville ... that's personally where I would like to see them moved to, or even Mobile, but just gtfo of B-ham IMHO.

There is a little area sort of situated in the middle of the triangle (beautiful valley in the foothills) that is Huntsville, Decatur and Athens, Alabama - incredible little area with quick and easy access to I-65 and the Hunstville airport and not far from Nashville .... it would be perfect. The SEC could build a showcase up there, a palace for all the world to behold. Something that other conferences could look upon and admire with great jealousy and envy in their hearts.

The Sheraton on on Richard Arrington is past its prime, not in a great location and not even a good place for SEC Media Days anymore ... which is why they moved it to Hoover.

Hoover has never stepped-up to the plate and full-filled their promises to be the next home of the SEC with regard to everything they said they would do over a decade ago.

Those people up in Madison County, they know what they are doing and they do it well.
