Crawfish Boil

Throwing one of these this weekend and have a few questions. I live around Bluebonnet in to give you an idea of where I live. Thinking its gonna be anywhere from 15-25 people. My question is how many sacks you think I should get? And where can I get the best bang for my buck? How much should I be expecting to spend on a sack?

3 sacks is it's a bunch of women. 4-5 sacks if it's some heavy hitters.

3-4 sacks tops I would say.
Three would run you 200 +/- 10 right now. Spend a few dollars on corn, potatoes etc.
You can get away with under 250 total for 3 sacks.
Don't know much about crawfish in BR, but if you're willing to drive to get the best crawfish in the state drive to Cazans in Crowley.

For mixed company, go 5 lbs per head. Add more to your title or this will get an anchor.

4.5 sacks.
that's calculating for 20 people at 7 lbs per person.

What i would do first is RSVP so you will have a better idea how many will come, and so you don't have to guess just ask if the one's joining will be eating as well. Believe it or not there are usually some that come to boils that don't eat at all or very little, so this will help you in your decision unless you know the people very well already.
Now even more important is if you are boiling more than 2 sacks, how many pots do you have ? If only one say between 60-80 qt, you gonna have some unhappy people because it will take along time, and when you throw in taters and corn that's even less crawfish in a boil. I do boils for people every season and can boil 4- 45-50lb sacks at one time so it would be great if you have access to at least 2 pots for your boil.
