The Jeffeson incident was stupid as hell, but he wasn't attacking random students hanging around campus.

Of course he wasn't. He was a model citizen and an outstanding QB while at LSU. Just ask Les if you don't believe me.

Well this Bama fan found that link interesting. I have never heard of this concept, and I am unsure of how real it is. A concept I have thought a lot post Trayvon Martin is how willing the media is willing to affect the narrative in racism stories when they can make a case for white racism, but how they refrain from going the other way. This is a real problem in this country. I’m not even talking about what happened in Tuscaloosa as I guess there are some indications this wasn’t all robbery, but we don’t know if it was part of a more specific trend, a ‘game’ such as the writer has outlined. I’m curious, are there actually documented cases of these criminals yelling shite like ‘knockout game’ during an attack? I’d like to look into that if anyone has any links. If so, I do find it appalling this isn’t getting media attention as that would be about the most black and white candidate for hate crime that I can imagine.

On a totally unrelated note, I support the staff in not just buckling under pressure and kicking these guys off the team like the night it happened. We’ve learned that, confession or not, things are often not what they seem at first (Manti T’eo comes tom mind). With that said, after everyone has had a chance to review the evidence and it seems our current understanding of what happened is accurate, if these pieces of shite aren’t kicked off the team for the first time I’m going to lose confidence in Saban as a disciplinarian.
