Well that's great, but you're probably the exception. Without exception, everyone I know that has apple pie "moonshine" is a recipe like this that I found online:

Sure it'll frick you up, but it's not "moonshine". I've only had legit moonshine twice in my life. It smelled like kerosene and after taking one sip I could barely feel my throat, and after a few more don't remember anything but waking up after noon the next day with a raging hangover.
