Yeah when I was In middle school. My mother was driving me to school. The car In front of us pulled across the highway in front of a motorcycle. There was a lot of traffic too. At the time I think I was still in Boy Scouts so me and my mom checked her pulse and cut her helmet strap that was choking her, while the driver of the car was directing traffic. She was a 23 year old girl and she died before the paramedics got there. It messed me up for a long time.

Thank you guys for your thoughts and prayers, I sincerely appreciate that. I'm also sorry for the loss of others.
When I was 16, driving home from school, a 73 year old woman pulled her car out in front of me trying to cross the road. She was in a small, late 80's Pontiac, I was in a 1976 Monte Carlo with almost an acre of steel in front of the windshield. My grill hit her driver's door at just about a perfect T. Her car ended up 150 feet from the point of impact with her body laying in a crumpled heap on the passenger side floorboard.
That was shocking and pretty traumatic but very quick. So I understand how that can make you feel. This is more peaceful but feels so much worse. Sometimes it feels disrespectful talking about him like he's not in the room with us, almost like we're talking behind his back. Other times I think everything is gone already.
Anyway, thanks again. I'm usually coming here for a distraction just from work or boredom.
