I feel like ole miss does a good job of supporting all 3 of the big 3 sports. Mizzou needs to pick it up in baseball but it'll always be an uphill battle with 2 pro baseball teams in the state, both of which have a better atmosphere and venue (even though the royals are generally pathetic.

For sure. OM fans are just itching to be good at anything, and show up in droves when we have the slightest glimmer of hope. Also we take a lot of pride in top notch atmospheres, as you can see with the grove and swayze field. Our new basketball arena will help out a lot too.
I think what you see with some historically successful football schools is that the football success sets the bar so high that other sports success isn't satisfying enough.
