He missed the second half of the LSU game, and was obviously not a factor in the first half. Was hurting too bad.
He didn't emerge until the Ole Miss game. So for the first four games he was barely getting looks, and he was basically MIA against LSU. He would've had crazy numbers (and probably All SEC nominations) had he been starting from week 1.
