Flawed rankings are flawed.
MSU and OM are governed by the Ayers Case(look it up) in MS -- basically locking our in-state admission standards to be identical to all the HBCU in MS. This is a double-edged sword for us.
Tons of students get into MSU and OM that have no business being there, which kills our rankings. These students then promptly drop out, which kills our rankings again.
IF you made this chart Graduate Income vs Per-Capita income of those living nearby, this thing would tell an ENTIRELY different story -- and State/OM would look like much more attractive destinations.
