I agree with whoever said there is a lot of regional bias in perception of degrees.
A&M, Florida, Vanderbilt, and Mizzou all have some national cachet. Maybe UGA too, to a lesser extent.
That's it.
The rest of you are well regarded in your regions and possibly with regard to a specific program (e.g. Auburn vet, engineering).
The overall rankings are pretty consistent with the top 3 or 4 in the SEC regardless of the publication or biases.
