Just a side note. Fans of "Tennessee Chattanooga" absolutely hate being referred to that way. They prefer the simple name "Chattanooga". At one time it was a private school that the aggressive UT system manhandled into a takeover. Chattanoogan's hate it to this day.

Shame on the communistic Big Orange political machine.

I am from Chattanooga and consider myself a fan. People don't necessarily hate being called UTC or Tennessee Chattanooga. Or none that I'm aware. I would prefer to be just Chattanooga, but I have tons of friend who went there and some who still do and they dont bring it up much. Some people are still bitter about dropping Chattanooga from the Moccasins to just the Mocs.

Also, Tennessee stole using Rocky Top from Chattanooga.
