Ole Miss leads nation in Bowl Ticket Sales

The Rebels’ athletics ticket office distributed 23,381 for its matchup with Pitt in the BBVA Compass Bowl Jan. 5 in Birmingham. That number, which is believed to be tops in the NCAA, does not include the many Ole Miss fans that purchased tickets through the bowl and other ticket agencies.

Went ahead and purchased two $30 tickets from the BBVA Compass Bowl website. Not bad tickets. Walk in and pick any seat in the endzone. It will be a good gift for my dad. He hasn't seen Ole Miss in a bowl game since the 1998 Independence Bowl.

You do realize you could have bought 30 tickets to the Gator Bowl... Which is way more presitegous and not in the ghetto? AMIRITE?
