I don't think you understand, or maybe you are too dense to understand.
A rotating schedule is obviously defensible. You can't argue with it - some years will be easier for teams and that is just the way it shakes out. A custom-made "bridge" schedule is not. Next year is not the rotating schedule and so you defense of the schedule on that basis is completely null.

Its obvious that mudderfracker dont care for UF very much...schedules our azz to go to CS to play A&M in their first ever SEC game...but lets Bama play them at BDS, but Johnny Football threw a wrench into that
This year we would have played Ole Miss away and AU at home...instead we got sidetracked by a "bridge". I know one thing...if UF has to travel to AU without a return game in the future I'll be pissed.
