Look, you're LSU, not Bama, so there's a different set of rules.

What I can say is this, had you not let our cry baby QB drive down the field and win the game 3 weekends ago, you would be going to Atlanta.

When you lose, you leave things in other people's hands. And unless you're The University of Alabama, that's not always a good thing.

We know, and how the rest of the conference sits back and lets it happen is beyond my comprehension.

What's lost in this fight is that LSU really isn't that great of a team. Talented? Yes. But they should have lost to a dreadful Auburn team and looked like poorly coached crap at many points this season. LSU fans don't want to admit that, but it's true. And Bama fans probably don't want to admit that either since pulling that last minute rabbit out of their arse in Baton Rouge is their biggest win.

Granted Bama has looked dominant for most of the year and add to that they are the defending NC and no SEC team should ever have to beg for it's place at the table.

But still, the schedule as of now doesn't hold up to scrutiny. It's good there is an SEC championship game because I think Bama still has a little to prove. There have been years in the past when I felt the SECCG was superfluous and could only hurt a team that had nothing left to prove. That's not the case this year. And that will probably be a trend with the new conference expansion.

Think of it this way:

The regular season is over and Bama is #2 yet they didn't even play FOUR of the RANKED teams in their conference (if Vandy sneaks in) and they lost to a fifth.

That's odd. That's flat-out bizarre.
