If Sumlin has a mobile QB he'll use zone read to get to the perimeter. If not he'll use outside zones or bubbles screens. It's the same concepts just different applications.
it's not even just that.

Manziel might be the toughest QB to sack in recent memory. He's no statue like Weeden.

That's the dimension that nobody accounts for, the escapability of Manziel against teams that are not built to stop someone like him.

Johnny Football is a rare player that is just a pain in the arse to play against. He (and KS) are the reason A&M is relevant.

shite.

Look at what happened at Auburn. They got a title b/c of one player. Once he left they went to shite. And they were't exactly anything special before he got there outside the year Tubby took them to 13-0.

JFF is the reason for A&M's success. Yes, I know the Aggies had Tannehill, a first round pick, but they would have been creamed game in and game out last year in the SEC. Their offense would have been tailor made for teams like Bama, LSU, UF, to defend.

That's obviously not the case the the element of JFF and Kevin Sumlin's offense added versus last season.

Mizzou also says hello.

He reminds me of how Pat White used to exploit any crease and go for 30 in a flash. Undersized and fearless, they'll be dangerous as long as he's taking snaps.

I don't think they've debunked anything though, it's TX talent and now they've got a rudder with Sumlin coaching.
