Would like to say a little word of thanks to those fans for the hospitality shown to us.

Several of the A&M rant posters drove up to Tuscaloosa this week. All we've ever heard about Bama fans are that they are arrogant, bullies, entitled, rude, and just flat out trash. This isn't internet banter that we've heard this from, though we've heard it from them, too. I understand if it's from LSU fans or ABURN fans, but it was from many other fan-bases. Texas fans were especially adamant about this from the 09 champ game.
Well, fast forward to Friday night and we were welcomed with open arms. We got up early on Saturday and setup our tailgate at 6 am. Campus was pretty dead except for those exercising. It started popping later. Each and every fan I came across was cordial and upstanding, well, except for the fight between bammers that I had to help break up after the game. I could understand the hospitality before, but it truly took me by shock after. I know you guys don't get a lot of practice losing with class, but from what I saw, you don't need it. Pure class each and every way we looked. Every Aggie I know that traveled there has said the exact same thing. Hold your head up high not only with your team, but how your fans represent.
Thanks for passing that along.

If it's the same fight I saw, it was basically three drunk redneck fans who were all talk, and one guy who finally had enough and threw one of them to the ground and kept walking. Then they acted like they were holding each other back, all the while keeping their distance from him while continuing to jaw. It was quite comical.
It was off University close to the tower. Looked to me like it started out as a 1 on 1, then 3 other guys jumped in. I was about 25 yards away when I see one guy jump up in the air and try to curb stomp the singled out guy. I'd say about 7 other guys then ran over to break it up. The guy was pretty dazed but continued to run his mouth when he finally wised up and walked away. I don't know who was at fault.
Two sweet older Bammer ladies came up to me and said "I'm so sorry you had to see that." I simply replied, "Me too ma'am, we don't fight over in Texas". Then I winked at her.

Texas fans were very butthurt after the game and very arrogant before.

We had our day of losing....not since Coach Saban. I grew up during the days of Coach Bryant, so those not too distant days of losing are painful memories. Most of us who are true fans realize we can't win every game. I try really hard to win and lose with class. You won't hear a lot of crowing once rammer jammer is over from the Bama crowds.
You also won't see us harassing other fans prior to the games. I can't say that about the corn dogs. However they do disappear when you None to be seen after 1/9
