I don't think it is as simple as just containing and forcing him to throw.

Obviously that's the objective, but you also have to play good coverage and hurry his throws. I think that's why the 3 man front with a pressure blitz from different areas worked well.

They were basically doing what everyone is saying with the 4 man front, but not allowing him to pick an easy match up pre snap by disguising where the 4th man would come from.
