And at the same time it is true that there are some grade a assholes wearing a badge.
My problem is when people expect cops in general to be better than the public in general. Thats just dumb. As long as we hire humans as cops were going to get some bad cops.
I actually think half of humans are bad people so to get only about 10% bad cops is doing pretty well.

Oh sure there are some bad apples, I just don't want to pile on the profession in general because of them. I know some really good guys who do it, and I'm thankful we have them.

I do hold them to a higher standard. If they cant handle it find another job. Being human is not an excuse when you are trained to know better.
