He does have a point. Look at Gary Pinkel's first four years at Missouri:
2001: 4-7
2002: 5-7
2003: 8-5
2004: 5-6
If he was the head coach at Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, LSU or Tennessee during that time period, he would have gotten fired with a record like that.

I am still pissed off about us having to drop Georgia for Missouri; we hardly ever get to play UGA.
