We fuuuuuked!
I thought it was a bad idea to give the reins to Grandpa Smith, most football fans knew this too.
As a team we:
--are unorganized
--have a complete lack of fundamentals
--unprepared
--no leadership from any coach
--soft
It was obvious in the 2nd half our best coach was a 22 year old QB. When he was injured, we collapsed.
We have athletes, they just have no direction.
It is also obvious that Petrino's best quality was his management of the team and his eye for detail.
Our defense struggled under him at times due to talent issues.
Now its due to lack of coaching.
Back to the bottom.

Ya'lls defense looks All-American compared to ours.

And apparently our O-line is not allowed to block if Tyler Wilson isn't playing (even then its shitty).
And apparently Paul Petrino thinks that when your starting QB is hurt and you are playing a Redshirt QB who is only playing in the 2nd college game of his life behind a crappy O-line you should drop back a pass it every down and completely abandon the run!!

Not trying to rub it in because we are sucking too but I never understood how people thought that Arky wouldn't miss a beat after BMFP left. Dude is a legit coach.
