Those are nothing but EXCUSES!!!
That '07 team was the core of bama's undefeated regular season SEC west champs.
According to all other bama fans but you claim '08, '09, '10 and '11 defenses to be no worse than top 5 in the country. Didn't '11 have the #1 "D"?
You are saying that the '08 LSU teams was actually better than bama that year eventhough bama won that game?

Better at running the football against our D than we were against yours yes. 07 and 10 LSU had better teams than Bama. How is that an excuse? It's a fact. LSU > Bama in 07 and 10.
