I think there's potential for dropoff, because recruiting to LSU is made at least a little bit easier by how much Louisiana guys like to stay home. While Alabama kids also stay in state, its obviously split between Auburn and Bama.
I think it's an unknown how well his recruiting would hold up in a different situation. For Saban it isn't.
