D-line most experienced???
bama has only four that saw any significant amount of PT in SEC action. But, considering how inexperienced some of the new LBs and DBs are I guess your statement could very well be true.

Dial registered tackles in four SEC games a total of eight tackles. Big game was against state, three assists.

Stinson was in on 13 tackles against SEC competition. Top game was three solos vs the gators.

As for the new up and coming LBs.

Depriest had seven defensive tackles in five SEC games. Season high was two solos vs LSU in the dome.

Hubbard was involved in nine defensive stops in six SEC games he recorded tackles. Biggest games were two ast vs both vandy and state.

Dickson is the least experienced of the three soph LBs. two tackles in two SEC games.

Now onto the secondary

Milliner was a Fr All American in '10. That wasn't mediocre. I thought kirkpatrick and menzie were the starting corners last year?

Just because a CB is fast doesn't mean he can cover. That boy from South Plaqumine can give him a run for his money.

son of serri wasn't in on a single tackle in either game vs LSU. Not even an assist.

All numbers for SEC games and tackles come from the official bama website for the first 12 games and added for the championship game as needed.

Milliner and Menzie did what Nico and Mosley did and switched sometimes. Menzie usually started at LCB, but Milliner would come in sometimes even in base.

Plus we were in Nickel a LOT. Milliner played almost as many snaps as Menzie.

You're looking at their stats like they didn't play. They played in garbage time mostly. Despite leading by so much, we didn't always take out the first team D because Nick didn't want anyone moving the ball on us. It wasn't that the second team was bad, it was just the first team was more of a proven group to get the job done.

Milliner was our most targeted CB last year, and it wasn't even close. He led the team in INTs and locked down everyone he played. Against Greg Childs and Da'Rick Rogers (Rodgers?) he only really let them beat him once, and they were quick slant ins, the easy route against man coverage.

Williams, Square, Dial, Stinson, Ivory, all had playing time last year. Hell, Ivory started against GSU, but he wasn't ready to, it is one of the main reasons we had trouble with the dive.
