You really can't say that when discussing the Big East conference. Unlike the SEC the BE has a very different football, basketball and baseball configuration. The conference is tailored for specific sports and morphs as the sports change.
The conference has 16 basketball teams, 12 baseball teams, and I believe they're down to 8 football teams.
