Realistically, Arkansas had better talent and coaching than both Auburn and A&M going in to 2012. Losing Petrino hurts, but their talent is still better than what A&M has. Meanwhile, Auburn's schedule sets up much easier than A&M's.
Going in, I felt confident saying Arkansas was 3rd best and most likely a loss for A&M. Sans Petrino, I wouldn't be shocked to see them finish as high as 3rd or as low as 5th. All depends on how the players respond.
Same story with A&M. All depends on what Sumlin can do.

Pass happy teams dont have time to pass in the SEC. DLmen are too fast.
