The White River is also a very scenic and laid back floating river. It is near a town called Dora.

Done the White too. I agree...very nice. shite, I'm not sure which rivers I haven't done in Missouri. I've even kayaked 340 miles on the Missouri River from Kansas City to St. Louis in an annual racing event called the MR 340.

Let's see...hmmmm...I haven't done the Big Piney or Big Sugar. I hear that the Big Sugar is amazing. That's near the top of my list. Haven't done the Gasconade, though there is a river race on the Gasconade that I may do soon. Haven't done the Elk River.

Northwest Arkansas has great floating too. Of course everyone knows about the Buffalo River. If you float at the right time of year and on the right stretch of the river, it's perfect. My favorite rivers in Arkansas are The Kings River (outside of Eureka Springs) and The Spring River.

The Spring River actually has waterfalls and rapids that make it the closest thing to white water in the area. Amazing river!

Kills, you would like the Elk at Pineville if you like to party float.

For those looking for more out of the way, scenic floats, the Beaver Creek is a beautiful quiet place if the water is at the right level.
