There are MANY factors that went into us having the years we had when we did. UF and UT being up or down certainly had a part in it, but I don't think it's a coincidence that at the same time, we were fielding our worst teams under Richt as well. I don't care how good or bad other teams are, when you field teams like we did in 2006, 2009, and 2010 it's not going to be pretty regardless.

Also, UGA can't help how good other teams are. That is completely and totally out of our hands, all we can do is play the games. And give some credit where it's due, Richt has beaten Bama, LSU, Auburn, UT, a lot of teams when those teams were very good as well.

This is true. But when those other teams are good, they steer recruits away from Georgia. Georgia wasn't that great last year, despite what your 10-3 record might show. The East was just THAT bad.

I wouldn't call beating 2007 Bama a huge accomplishment.
