I had a Harley and sold it for this reason. I was almost hit 3 times and I figured I used up all my strikes, plus. The joy of them just did not override the fear of death or being seriously injured. People just don't see you.

Especially if their texting. Or drinking coffee and talking on the cell. Or doing their makeup. Or reading. Etc. Etc. Etc.
