Fayetteville bars close at 2. So 11-2 is the prime drinking time. If the bars here stayed open til 4 like they do in LR, I would have never graduated.

Last call is 2:30 in Lexington. We were rarely the last to leave, though. 2 hours in a bar, after pre gaming all night, is more than enough.

Was that at a bar or at a store?

Blue laws are mostly dumb. Until recently, all beer in NWA was purchased at liquor stores only. That had more to do with the local liquor mafia lobby than anything. Now you can buy beer at gas stations and grocery stores.

I know when I lived in Dallas, liquor stores closed at 9:00pm.

When I was in college, Fayetteville liquor stores closed at 11:00 pm, but Springdale ones stayed open until midnight. Like 5 minutes away. I made many late runs to Springdale for beer back then.
