Walk-ons who get a scholarship awarded to them are usually only SRs who basically get a free ride for their last year as a "Thanks for your hardwork" gift.

Kozan and Diggs are still in play. If Auburn misses on both I still don't have a problem with only signing 21 (which includes the transfer FB).

What you don't understand is that there are only 13 seniors max for the 2012 season (Ford could possibly get a medical RS for 2011).

Even with the standard attrition and JRs who could possibly leave early for the draft, Auburn should still be short of the 25 available spots in the 2013 class.

Your points are all valid.

And it will take a couple of more years to see what strategy (Process vs Family for the sake of labels) is working the best.
