Nashville's New Downtown Convention Center nearing Completion for SEC BB Tourney

Since many of you travel to Nashville for SEC Basketball Men's and Women's Tournament games when the Bridgestone Arena hosts in downtown Nashville I thought you might like to see how the new Music City Center is taking shape. It's located next to the Basketball Arena. This will be great to have SEC events in the new Convention Center once it is open. The Country Music Hall of Fame next to both is also going through a major expansion as well. Here's a link to an article in today's Tennessean about the new convention center. It's still going to be a while until it's complete and ready for business.
Definitely wouldn't describe it as "nearing."

It's suppose to be ready in April 2013. How about nearing completion a year off? 
And they are expecting it to go past it's April date of completion.

Thanks for sharing. I love when the Men's tourney is in Nashville. Much better arena for Bball than Ga Dome. Plus you can hang out Tootsies between sessions.
