Bama's Offense Next Year

If Lacey and Hart can be the backs that many think they can be, and the young WRs like Norwood, Bell, White, Black, and possibly Carter step up.... It could be very special. Our OLINE will be the best in the country IMO.
Our D will be a lot like 2010...young but talented. They'll have to grow up quick with Arky on the schedule early. Should be a fun year next year. I don't think we will win the NC but 2013 with AJ being a 3rd year starter with an experienced D should be incredible.

If McCarron throws the ball around like he did last night, that offense could be very, very good.

Alabama is set for a few years now. The recruiting has been rock solid, the OL is set, they look set at RB and QB, and the WR showed something last night.
The defense will always be decent with Saban. They, along with LSU have to be the favorites in the conference again next year.

Probably so, unfortunately. But Bama DOES have question marks in the defense. Youth, no matter how talented, is unpredictable. Arkansas' offense should have an early season advantage over Bama's young defense. But with the emergence of McCarron, I'm not sure it'll matter unless Paul Haynes is as good of a DC as he looked in the cotton bowl.

the defense, IMO, will compare to 2010. However, in 2010 we started with San Jose State and Penn State, not exactly stellar offenses. The young D next year will get an early test with Denard Robinson and Michigan.

I think the defense will be alot more experienced in 2012 than they were in 2010, due to the fact in 2010 we only had 1 returning starter, and in 2012 we will have 6 returning starters and many of the new starters will have gotten experience this year . We will not have a trent richardson but the running back stable is loaded and so are the wide receivers and now we see that A.J. can get the ball to receivers i think 2012 the defense will be very solid, top 10 in country , but our offense will be top 10 as well, a few breaks and Alabama could be back

The off weeks teams had before us in 2010 was the problem. Saban has said that what teams do in off weeks is put in things the D hasent seen before. With experience a D is able to adjust quicker and stop the new stuff. With out experience the adjustments come to late and the other team has already did thier thing against you. Spurrier for sure took advantage of his off week in 2010 (damn I wanted another shot at that drunk Garcia).

Will also depend on your new OC. Alabama is losing, imo, a very good OC.

I think despite the OC he'll do what Saban wants. If AJ can start throwing for 230 a game, we'll be set.
Look at his targets :
Duron Carter
DeAndrew White
Kenny Bell
Kevin Norwood
Dee Hart (back field)
Chris Underwood
Michael Williams
Amari Cooper
I'm forgetting some, but still, awesome. He had a 67% this year, I think he could have a 72ish% if he really gives it his all, and I'm sure he will. Hasn't AJ been a Bama fan all of his life?
