Thanks to the apparent neglect from other conferences of Mike Slive's playoff idea after an undefeated Auburn team was left out of the championship game in the early 00s, we have two SEC teams playing for the championship. Those in power don't want to lose power. Sorry for the past half decade. You have no one to blame but your respective conference commissioners.
