There are plenty of cheap shots in football that are technically legal
Like what? I honestly don;t believe they allow any type of play that would be deemed a cheap shot.

Ok, you have never played football. That's ok.

Legal cheapshots (off the top of my head):
Crackback block away from the play
Stepping on ankles in trenches
Pulling a player down by his hair
The "one-man" chopblock (diving at back of knee or ankles, perfectly legal if he's not already being blocked.)
The swim-technique-to-elbow by a WR

I can think of more.

Memphis just for shits and giggles, can you zoom in on the forward shot and slow it down the same way? I just want to see where the fist landed.

I can't find a still image of it anywhere.

My point is if it's legal, it should be considered as possible by all players, and therefore it isn't a cheap shot.

My definition of cheap shot is one that is not expected because it is not within the rules of the game. We clearly have differing opinions of the definition of a cheap shot.

Honest misunderstanding, imo.

eta: And your efforts to flame are noted. I am too tired to take the bait at this point. I did play football, though honestly, not very well
