1941 is ridiculous, agreed. It's also 70 years ago when the NC was a big cluster anyway.

As for 1973 and 1978, name one, just one school that does not recognize an AP or UPI/Coaches national championship they were awarded. I'm going to guess you cannot because EVERY school recognizes these without exception. It's a simple fact that the winner of these polls were THE recognized national champions, no question about it.

I'm gonna make my own national championship poll and give it to LSU every year so we can claim them.

The 1973 title is a complete joke and an embarrassment that you actually consider yourself national champions. The 1978 title isn't quite as bad, nonetheless, when the other recognized national champion finishes with the same record as you did and beat you head to head it kind of settles it to me that they, not you are the true national champions.
