First off, Penn St. is currently 7-1 and probably won't win another game this year. Their record is more a product of their schedule. They have not beat any team considered to be good.

Their defense is good enough to play with just about anyone. If they fade down the stretch it will be because of their offense. Though if they have another game like they did against NW I might reconsider.

Secondly, AJ M has yet to face ANY defense like he will see from LSU. He has had the luxury of handing off to TR and getting seperation from opponents through the running game.

Third, This game can go either teams way. I think they are really a push. LSU forces more turnovers and gives up less turnovers than Bama. IMHO, Bama's D is better than LSU's because they are better coached in that area. LSU's Offense is more versatile with more playmakers on that side of the ball.

This will be a good game and it will finally be settled. I just don't think that Bama will fare well if AJ is forced to make plays. Atleast JL and JJ have both made plays to win for LSU in the past.

I agree with most of this.

Penn State is 7-1 because of their defense.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the following:
Indiana State (1aa)
Temple (35 in Total Offense) (63 in PPG)
Eastern Michigan (79 in Total Offense)(105 in PPG)
Indiana (53 in Total Offense) (99 in PPG)
Iowa (68 in Total Offense) (29 in PPG)
Purdue (73 in Total Offense) (62 in PPG)
Northwestern (60 in Total Offense) (67 in PPG)

Look at all of those powerhouses. Any team will look like they have an elite defense playing against that kind of competition. Quit fooling yourself, Penn State's defense isn't even close to LSU.
