Of course it makes a difference in a game. We've had 3 turnovers in 7 games. That is tied for fewest in the nation. TO's are always one of the most significant numbers in a game as close as LSU vs Bama.

I didn't mean that turnovers won't matter. I meant that the statistical difference (+ 13 vs. + 5) is probably not a very relevant basis for determining which team's turnover is likely to have an effect. If it were, say, +13 vs. -10, it would be more likely to have some predictive value.
