In fact, this moniker was started in the 30's or 40's. The horns didn't "decide" to do a hand signal until the 80's.
They only built a clock tower because they wanted one bigger than ours (and ours isn't even that big).
They have Big Bertha because they wanted a bass drum bigger than ours.
They sing "Texas Fight" as a copy of a song we had called "Farmers Fight" because we make fun of "The Eyes of Texas."
And they got a hand signal because we had one first. If you look back at history, they've been copying us, and we get the flak for it.
