the top half of our league is right where it's always been. Different names (Ark, USCe in, utenn, FU out) but still as strong as it's always been. Where the argument can be made about a weaker SEC is in the middle and bottom. Top tier is LSU, Alab, and then the next tier is, in order Ark, UGA, SC (yes, SC won the head to head, but I like the way UGA is playing right now more), and then there is a pretty decent drop to FU and Aub, and then there's a fairly significant drop off to tenn, and maybe Mississippi state, then the thing falls off the earth to (in order) Vandy, OM, Kentucky.

So...I still think that the teams we have in the top ten right now belong there. Our other ranked teams stack up well with the top tier of any other conference in the nation. But unlike previous years, when we were pretty competitive through about our 10th team, this year we are only competitive through about 8 teams.
