Other dude made us sounds like Sarah Palin. She's hot for a Governor that's about all I can say about that, golly-gee.
A&M's education is pretty damn good, and I've never heard anyone promote the idea that Aggies are all from the big city. Actually, quite the opposite is true historically. Our school was built for the blue collar types to be able to go to college. Your view on A&M is twisted sir.
Plenty of hicks at A&M. And you're right that people are people wherever you go. We do have a culture that brings out the best in people, though, so I think that helps:
1) Aggies to do well in the real world, and
2) People like yourself drink the haterade. I'm surprised it took you this long to post on this Aggie-related thread.

How they portray themselves as refined and educated is a mirage... they all want "us" to believe their entire living alumni base came from Houston or some such.

Hicks? Pretty much. Nice? Some of them. Pricks? Just like the rest of us. Unjustified entitlement? Off the chart.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about all fans, not just those who went there.

My view isn't twisted at all. If you're admitting you're blue collar, we agree.
If you think you and yours will get very far with the Texag mentality you are "better" than the "hillbillies" of Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas or the swamp trash of Louisiana and Florida, you're wrong. Prepare yourselves now rather than later.
