I think Saban will be blitzing the linebackers most of the time and bumping the receivers to keep us from having the time for a deep game. The trick will be timing the quick outs and slants. I think there will be quite a few times we hit the drag route. I think the key to winning for Arkansas is YAC.
I think Saban punts to Joe.
I think we will try to get LB covering WR in the slot and exploit that. I am concerned that Wilson will not get the height on the passes and we will see a number batted down.
For Arkansas, we are basically playing the opposite defensive strategy. We are going to play up to the line of scrimmage and take our chances on getting beat deep. I see us just using the DL for the pass rush. I think you will see a mix of coverages from the secondary. I think Safeties will be coming to shore up the linebackers on the run.
I think Bama showed a little more on tape than Arkansas (bc of Penn St.), so a quick start by Arkansas would be expected, but Saban's second half adjustments and home crowd will definitely come into play before the end of the game.
For Bama, the keys to winning will be establishing the run game. But I would not be surprised if Saban calls a couple of deep balls early to keep us honest.
